Ahead of the release of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone' sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD, makers have taken precautionary steps to prevent the leakage of film footage and images on social media platforms. To preserve the integrity of their content, the film's production team has joined forces with a specialized Cyber Team. This collaboration is accompanied by the copy of a legal copyright notice which is issued by a clear warning that the producers will pursue legal action against individuals responsible for any unauthorized dissemination of the film's material. Frequently, images and videos from movie sets find their way online, and unfortunately, Prabhas' appearance in the film was among those that got leaked. This incident prompted the film's producers to take the legal route to ensure the film's security and protect against further leaks. They asserted that any form of sharing, including scenes, footage, or images from the movie, is in violation of these laws and subject to legal consequences. To enforce this, the Kalki 2898 AD team is prepared to take legal action when necessary, with the cooperation of the Cyber Police. The official teaser of Kalki 2898 AD was revealed at Comic-Con in San Diego. The sci-fi film that was earlier titled Project K is set in the future with Prabhas cast in the role of saviour. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in key roles. Film heads for January 12, 2024 release.
